Each year, the Claremont Hispanic Heritage Celebration carries a theme that reflects where our community is in its journey. This year’s theme is RAÍCES (rah-EE-sehs) — Spanish for “roots.”

RAÍCES celebrates the people, stories, traditions, and cultural legacies that connect generations and continue to shape our community today.

Early Bird Tickets: $40
Available August 14–21, 2026

Beginning August 22, tickets increase to $60 and will remain at the regular price through September 24 or until the event sells out.

One ticket provides access to both the daytime Film Festival and the evening Awards & Celebration.

This year’s celebration expands into a special two-part experience—beginning with an International Hispanic/Latino Film Festival in the Claremont Village and culminating with the inaugural Community Cultural Impact & Legacy Awards and evening celebration at the historic Padua Hills Theatre.

Your ticket includes admission to both events.

Enjoy a curated showcase of award-winning short films celebrating Hispanic and Latino voices, stories, cultures, and filmmakers from Mexico, Latin America, and the broader Latino experience.

The screenings will take place at the newly renovated Regency Theatre in the Claremont Village.

Film Festival admission is included with your event ticket; however, a separate RSVP is required due to limited seating. Please email info@claremontheritage.org to receive the reservation form.

EVENING CELEBRATION & AWARDS

The celebration continues at one of Claremont’s most significant cultural landmarks for an evening honoring Hispanic and Latino heritage, achievement, artistry, and community.

5:00 PM — Doors Open - RAÍCES Cocktail Reception
Begin the evening with a festive reception featuring networking, an artisan marketplace, Latin-inspired food and beverages, and the beautiful setting of the historic Padua Hills Theatre.

6:30 PM — Community Cultural Impact & Legacy Awards
Gather in the Padua Theatre Ballroom for the inaugural awards ceremony recognizing individuals, families, and organizations whose leadership, achievements, service, artistry, and community impact embody the spirit of RAÍCES — Roots • Stories • Legacy.

Special recognitions include Celebrity Grand Marshal Emilio Rivera and Latino Trailblazer Julian Works.

Following the Awards — RAÍCES Celebration in the Courtyard
